World Endurance Championship, Silverstone

[Mackerfly]

Went down to Silverstone on Friday for the World Endurance Championship, really enjoyed the day, some great cars and it was sunny, now and again.

Great shots mate, were these all taken from the spectator areas.

Yeah just the spectator's areas, but you can get pretty close in places.

Yeah it did try to rain a couple of times but in-between it was nice and sunny.

The ELMS was stopped at 3/4 race distance I think, drivers saying there was too much standing water. It's good to see all the cars out, nothing compared to the 24H though

Christ, friday was a scorcher compared to saturday then, did you just go on the Saturday?

Was there late Friday night until late Sunday, race day was OK bar one heavy shower halfway through thankfully!

I ended up just going on the friday, got there just after 12 and left at half five because I ran out of space on my memory cards.

Liking the low angles you've found of the cars head-on, were those shot through fences?

Yeah shot through the fence around the new area complex, there is the odd window in the catch fencing that you can look through.
