Window frozen and its open

  Clio Expression 1.2 16V
HI basically I put my driver side window down yesterday even though it was a very cold day and the thing has got stuck down there all the way. Can hear ice grinding when I try the button to pull it up/down

Is it safe to pour some (lots) of boiling water down there to melt the ice or should I open up the door and have a look.

HOw do you take the door cards off is it difficult?

ideally if you can, leave it in a mates garage for an hour if you havent sorted it yet.

Put it in a garage (As suggested) and use a hair dryer (As suggested)
Pouring boiling water down there really isn't a sensible idea
