Hi all, i'm rebuilding my Williams that has been off the road for around 6 years. I'm trying to source the steering rack mounting rubbers (under the clamps) - Renault only stock 1 now but its mainly the other one I need (next to the pinion). Has anyone got a source other than a scrappy? (Motor factors that I have contacted so far have said main dealer or scrappy).
Also - not 100% sure but I believe the rack for the Williams is actually from a Renault 19 to provide the extra 50mm wider track on the Williams over all the other phase 1 clios. can any one confirm this or even if they know that all the mounting rubbers are the same no matter what the model.
