Williams 2 number 411?

I saw this one ebay and thought it was a bit strange as hes advertised it as a williams 2, when its clearly not, and it has a plaque saying number 411 on it. I didnt think they made that many....

Yea, it's a Williams 1.

Possibly an import. I've seen number 425, too..

They only made 390 Williams 1's for the UK market, according to Renault.

Yes but it was not the first 390 that the UK market got, take into account the LHD's (0001, etc).

Its definately a Williams 1, its an L reg for a start, and has the ph1 grille and mirrors.

I thought the UK cars were still numbered 0001 - 0390? I have 0025 which is one of the first cars built and it's RHD...

0001 is Left hand drive.. as are quite a few low down odd numbers etc..
