My mate has just got a 172 and has been offered a set of 17's off a Seat Arosa. Is the offset the same?
Never been able to understand offset on the few occasions someone has tried to explain

Simple answer is no, The PCD is different which means that the bolt holes are aligned differently to those on the Clio.

One option is to eaither have the wheels converted (only worth doing on expensive track wheels) Or purschase some conversion hubs.
