Will Gearbox from 182 fit 172 Phase 1?

yes but your speedo wont work.

And the rartios will be shorter, but i doubt you would notice.

You could tap into the abs and use the OEM as your trigger wheel, work out how many pulses it fires in one turn of the wheel then convert that in a signal to power your speedo, you can buy a adjustable signal conversion unit to calibrate the rate of impulses to MPH.

Would need to cambridge math though.

It wont, clip cant convert psh1 to run off ABS, psh2 uses a completely new ABS unit, running EBD and a smarter dist unit.

I agree ben the 172mk1 box definatly needs to read the speed from the gearbox. Youd have to be an expert to get it to work from the abs.

Sweet yo, BenR got mine working using a convertor, took a bit of math but did it in the end!
