Bluray is like the minidisc, a format that never needed to be, they only came out because the broadband industry is dragging its feet and not catching up with the times, just like when the mini disc came out.
 
I'm pretty sure I've read Steve referring to Blu-Ray as "a bag of hurt", so I doubt it very, very much.
