Will a rotary kill my paint?

I know there is an undying love for PC's on here but following on from a thread the other day about silver Clios not showing scratches etc, will a rotary polisher do any good/bad to my paint or should I polish it by hand?

Like most things a tool is only as good as the user. A rotary in the right hands, using the right polishes can yield fantastic results. A PC is a more forgiving tool, especially someone new to machine polishing.

If your starting out straight to a rotary, then I would get some help/tips from a "expert" first before having a go.

Nah it should not burn your paint just make sure you keep the pad moving and you have it at a normal speed look onto the links they should clear things up !

Good luck buddy.
