Will a PH1 172 steering wheel boss fit a PH2 182?

Just as the title says, I have a steering wheel boss for my 172 PH1 but just recently bought a 182 and wondering if the boss will fit the 182? Thanks.

the splines are the same, and so is the squib. it will fit

but i do believe it fouls the plastics behind the wheel, you may have to cut some of it away!

Cool, thanks for the info. Might be worth getting some PH1 steering column plastics.

Thread revival! so do you have to cut away plastic?? I am getting an OMP boss from I believe a PH1 172 but fitting to a PH2...
