will a 2003 172 engine fit a 2000 172 ?

i am currently searching for an engine for my 2000 clio 172.
i have recieved a few quotes from breakeryards with engines from a 2003 172. will the engine fit perfectly, or would there be slight alterations needed? will there be extra sensors and things like this that need thinkin about aswel?

As far as i'm aware the only diffrences would be the gearbox & inlet manifold, the lump its self i belive is the same, not 100% sure on it though

the engine and the gearbox would physically fit, but the box would not have the speedo sensor on it.
