WHY? why do people feel the need to drive around with primered body kits???

  Renaultsport Clio Trophy
seriously how hard is it to wait an extra week to get it sprayed??
not only does it look s**t, but if you chip the deep fill primer, well your gonna have to sand it down all over again and re-spray if you care at all about the finish.
Perhaps, people want to make a statement,
' hey look i have new things on the car, everyone look how cool the car looks with 'hearing-aid beige' body kits' (in some cases) hanging off it like Gordon Brown hanging on to Public popularity, loosely and rippling at every little bump.

Ive done Spraying, i know what a pain it can be, but i cycled to work (a trek at that) or walked while i was putting the effort in to insuring i didn't look like a t**t.

as a final vent, can i just point out you are going to have to take it off again, to spray it!! so why put it on???

Yeah I saw a saxo today with primered arches, it doesn't look pretty lol. Didn't help that it was a saxo tbh.

Yeh, they primer it, drive it for a month, then spray it on there driveway and wonder why it has a s**t finish. Just get it sprayed, you bum bandits. Oh and there bodywork is usually shockin, massive gaps in it etc.

EDIT: Also, numberplates in windows is a common trait for these people

Is it not simply because they've spent a small fortune buying the kit, and cant afford to spray it.... for a few months any way lol.

When I had my first car, I kitted it up (mk5 escort > full cossie kit). But didnt drive it till it was 100% finished, just couldnt take the shame of driving round in a red/white/grey car hehe.

ha ha we need some pictures of some offenders really to have a laugh at

www.barryboys.co.uk

The home of sheds, for those who don't know of this site. Here not only do they take pictures of offending cars. But in many cases put flyers on the car. Saying something like "Your shed is on barryboys.co.uk for discussion" This often means the owners register on the forums.

Chavs defending there cars (badly) usually get totally roasted. Some threads are long but are worth a read, for teh luls.

BBG (Barry Boys Gold) for the funny stuff.

Theres been a focus driving round locally, with some sort of snow plow front bumper, finished in this "hearing aid" grey that I quite like the sound of, no other "phat" pannels, just a bumper.

It's been that way for at least a year, and makes me laugh every time it trundles past.

that saxo is epic!!! ha ha what a find.
lol get a picture of the focus dude. any more horror stories ??

When I was mid painting my bump strips and rear bumper insert I had to drive around without them on. Dont see the problem if its not permanent. Looked s**t but wtf can I do, paint aint gna dry any quicker if I dont drive my car.

  immaculate clio 172
why bother with silly aftermarket body kits in the first place just buy a nicer car and if you cant afford one then just drive a shed and save the money as the shed looks a even bigger shed with these kits on them anyway sprayed or not sprayed lol lol thats my advice to the strange primer crew anyway's

Was a guy i drive past on the way to work, he had primered kit on his corsa looked w**k for ages, eventually he got it sprayed, then a few days later it was on his front drive compeletey fecked, he's obviously rolled it, made me chuckle.

  Stagecoach Ticket
even worse than the primer kit is the saxo sport sticker. ever corsa c by me has a massive corsa racing one on the rear window not only can you not see but it does not add 200bhp like ebay promised :(

  BMW M135I
would have loved one that was in rotherham today, silver astra sxi, with a gsi blue front bumper, spoiler, rear valance and side skirts which luked stupid as
