noticed this after the strines run actually, just never got around to taking piccies....typical that i had the highest car/tractor there and i was the one to break something, even though jordan's car was bottoming out on just about everything....anyone know what exactly the plastic's protecting/what use it has?

Well when it was in one piece it was covering the gear linkage where it goes into the box to keep all the road shite off it. I'd get a new one personally, wouldn't want it exposed to the elements too much.
