which output to use

This might seem like a dumb question but ive just got a kenwood z838w and am wiring it up to my amp/sub but which of the 3 preouts should i use...

ive got front, rear and non-fading... its not gonna be front but should i use read or non-fading

cheers

From the name, Im going to guess.

None-fading.

If you put it in rear, and you fade the sound out from rear and all to the front (via stereo), Im guessing the sub/amp will fade out too! Not what ya want!

I could be wrong..

Daz.

Use the non-fading pre-out. Its also known as the sub-out RCA connection...basically it is designed for sub amps. You will get a cleaner signal to the sub amp as well by using it.
