which gear knob??!

As silly as it sounds, I like the idea of an aluminium gear knob. My standard is starting to wear at the front and it needs replacing. The only thing is that I've come across standard looking one on eBay. Anyone had any experience? Any friendly advice or comments welcome!

i have richbrook jobbie from halfrauds as my one was... er... broken...

anyway it seems to look quite tidy, mine has insert in it too so i have all the proper numbers, the only thing was i had to cut down the rubber sleave thats for adapting the normal gearshift, without the pull up reverse, the fit the metal thread for the gearknob otherwise the adaptor thing wouldnt fit.

I'm thinking to go for the plain one. More phase1 172 style. If it will all go on easy enough then I'll go for it!

Does anybody know if it's possible to use another Renaults gear knob.
I like the Clio III RS, Clio II V6, Renault Spider and Twingo RS one.
Is this possible to fit them in a Clio RS182?

How do you take old 1 off lads? Isit screw on?

They're stuck on mate, if you turn it hard enough it will move, i thought they screwed on.

I'm not 100% sure but as long as they are pull up reverse i think they should
