Which baby seat for 182?

Last week i became a dad!! Thing is the baby seat i got with our pram/pushchair is too big for our clio, it fits nicely into both front and back seats but it is too long and means that if you are sat either infront or behind it then there is no leg room , Now rathere than buying a new car i was wondering what make and model of car seats you people are using and have an easy life with.

Any help would be much appreasiated.

Thats exactly what i was gonna say Mattie...mate of mine had a kid a few years back and had just bought a escort cossie Lux, so when his wee one big enough for a one of them up right car seats he went out n bought a 'baby recaro' and had it retrimmed in leather to match the interior.....looked spot on for a baby seat!

Congratulations on becoming a Dad! Best thing in the world in my opinion .

I'd suggest that you pop to Halfrauds or Mothercare and try out some different seats since they're happy to go and test that they fit well. And unlike others, unless your going to get a single stage 0-2 seat, you're better off not spending too much since you won't need it for long before then move up to a different seat.

Must admit my littlest one has never been in the Vee, tho' my older two love it. I keep a booster seat under the bonnet. Also I bought a new push chair before Xmas that folds down small enough to fit there too .
