Where to go in South Wales

So I said I'd do a favour and take my stepdad and his mates to Cardiff to watch the rugby in a few weeks.

As its over an hours drive I thought I'd take the camera and make a day of it until they are ready to come home.

I don't particually want to stay in the city centre, too busy for my liking at weekends and I'd rather not travel more then 30 minutes or so from Cardiff.

So where is good to go?

Dunraven Bay is a must for sunset photography. Been there four times now, only once was it a bit naff due to the weather (it was awful!)

Nash Point is good too.

Penarth Pier is great for sunrise shots, that's pretty much just outside Cardiff iirc.

What kind of shots do you want?

Well if you want some sunrise/sunset shots, then those places are very good. Apart from that, I don't know any places at all.

If you do, let me know!
