Where to get Wheels Aligned/Coilovers set up (South East)

I've recently acquired Vmaxx Coilovers on my Non Sport, and having fitted them myself, and got them to a ride height I'm happy with, along with spacers so the camber can be adjusted on the front, I'd like to get them set up properly. Im just not sure what needs doing now?

So what I'm really asking is where do people get them properly tweaked, like all the wheel alignment and tracking and stuff?

These people are very good i used to take the Porsches to them for a full wheel alignment after they had been crashed.

Give them a call ask for H he has been there years and years...

Thanks they look good. I might give them a go.

Its just Im not really sure what Im asking for either. Do I just need the wheels aligned? Will that involve making sure the coilovers are all setup properly and stuff?

Give them a call and tell them what you have done or put up a post about "what settings"
I am sure i have seen something tonight in the forums about what camber caster to run....

The set up my old car and eveything on it was rose jointed and adjustable.

Yea thanks for all your advice mate.
I think thats a good idea, if I just ring them and have a chat and see what they suggest.

And if anyone else has any recommendations they'd be much appreciated!

One other thing, its not just any old garage that can do all this is it?

No they bolt things onto yor wheels to get the readings from a laser beam, at the Aston Martin garage we use the old Dunlop setting gagues which tbh is old hat now days.
Speak to H or the bosses son Barry and tell them that scott that used to work for Porscha Bodyshop and was Keef wakins mate put you onto them.

I spent many hours waiting for the cars to be done..

Good luck

  SG9 Forester STi
AMD Technik in Lakeside are really good. They set up Ben_r1's KW V3's and did an awesome job for a good price too.

Ok thanks will do. Thanks vicky i'll have a look at them as well. What about these alignmycar.co.uk or whatever it is? I did a search and saw some people suggest them?

Elitedirect wont fit anything that isnt bought through them, as I have experienced! My advice would be to go see Mark Fish as he is very experienced and not any further to travel really than elite. www.markfish.co.uk

He has already fitted them, all that needs doing is the setting up i thought???

Good point, altough my issue was with an exhaust fitted elsewhere which needed sorting out, they said they wouldnt touch it as it wasnt bought from them!! Bizzare really??? I would still go mark fish anyway.

could alwaysmtry mark fish, on the outskirts of harlow, never heard a bad word about his work.

Pretty unanimous vote then lol. But from what I was understanding, I thought I needed wheel alignment as I've already got mine on, and people mentioning all these techno gizmo alignment machines that only specialist places have. Is that what mark fish does? Or does he set them up properly so I don't need alignment lol? Or both :S
