When sanding to paint bullets (2.0) what grade paper do i need to go down to? I assume i don't need to get all the silver off, just give it a key.

I've done them with 240, 400, 800, is that too fine as they seem really smooth?

If i was doing them i would key them alot with a gren pad of similar then smooth with 800 pre primer then 1200 after maybe 2000 depending on finish achieved

If your not 100% on them you can always test them with primer and c if it takes and if so how smooth

Cheers jimbo, read that (i'm an avid trawler) but the difference in starting from silver made me wonder.
