Wheel refurb gone wrong!

  Arctic 182FF + Escort Van
Sent one of my wheels off for a refurb after gettin out of the way of the fuzz left a nasty scrape all round the wheel.

It came back today the wrong colour! Its only noticeable once the centre caps goes on, so Ive gotta send it off again to be done in the correct colour. Apparantly Renault wouldnt release the paint code to the refurb company.

So I told them I would get the code and they could try again, to which they obliged. So wheel and paint code going back on Monday!

Are Renault just being awkward or is there no offical ranault code?

Ill get some pics up in the day light. Its a real shame as the guys have done a really good job

Sounds quite mad - do Renault actually do wheel refurb and don't want third parties to know the code, or were they just being arwkward?

the guy i spoke to at renault told me they only do wheel refurbs on cars that then go onto their forecourts

Paint code is 205-110 and was Ixell paint but impossible to get hold of in small quantities. Good matches are supposidly:

Nissan Hurricane grey
Rover Storm Grey
Audi Nimbus Grey
Peugeot Cussack Grey

Having said that, if you could get hold of the CMYK breakdown it could be accurately reproduced by most paint mft's....
