Wheel bearings

need 2 wheel bearings for the rear. renault have quoted me £104. does anyone know where i can get them cheaper cause that seems expensive???!!!

For the Trophy? for an extra £30 you can buy the brake disks which have the bearings already in them. They will be easier to fit as will just slot on the axle. You wont have to worry about getting the old bearings out your old disks (which can damage the disk) and new ones pressed in.

Go to a Motor Factors, cost me £20!

you will have to have the old ones pressed out and the new pressed in, plus removing and fitting etc

£150 inc the bearings is a fair price

Costs a fiver to press a bearing and taking the disc off takes 2 minutes, grand total for me, £25 jobs a good un. Quinton Hazell bearing as well so oe spec

i brought a bearing for my rear from renault although im staff cost me £20 and 20 mins of my time

cheers managed to get hold of some for 25

i've got new brakes so thats why i need the bearings.
