Wheel bearing??

hey guys, this may be a silly question but how can you tell if a wheel bearing is buggered?

Either jack it up and spin the wheel or when driving sway left and right just enough to throw the weight of the car and the noise should get louder and quieter as you do it.
 
  a low one
youll usually get a humming noise too when driving, more noticeable at higer speeds. or as said above, jack it up and spin the wheel

ah because at the moment im getting a sort of 'clicking' noise, it starts at about 10-15 mph and it either stops, or i cant hear it at 45+ mph. Ive bought new springs and new shocks all round as my handling is no where near as good as is described by people...
