What's your opinion of Koni Sport Kits???

  Renault Clio 1.5 DCI mk2
Hy, just found this Koni Sport Kit,yellow, fixed lowering of 35 mm, but Externally adjustable shoks...what's your opinion of it? is koni good? or fk's are better?

i had the fixed red kit and was very good. Didint give much of a drop, but ride was better than standard, and turn in was a bit sharper. I was talking to ben off here who has a 172 cup, with eibach pro springs and koni yellow dampers and he loved that set up.

theres less body roll, and the handling is definetely better - however it is lower and therefore a harsher ride. depends what you want at the end of the day as to whether you class them as better.

cheers mate! tks ...i'm gonna give it a serious thought before i make up my mind...basically looking at this koni sport kit and the fk silverline x...but that's more expensive...

if your pondering whether to go for FK's then i'd definetely go for them, as its cheaper in the long run - you'll only end up buying them in the end. silver x is a good kit as its stainless but if your only going to set it to one height, and then take good care of cleaning them regularly you dont really need to pay the extra for the stainless.

www.2modified.com anyone ;)
