Whats this bit do?

Had my sport for about 2 weeks now and about a week ago it started rattling when i started it or give it some revs reversing of my drive. Thought it might have been the exhaust coming off but after a quick check it wasnt.

Tonight i found it coming from under the bonnet, its the bit in the pic but on first inspections i cant actually see what the point of this bit is. Can anyone shed some light on what it does?

Its the fuel rail cover mate . Nothing to worry about . There are 2 10mm bolts on the front that will have come loose , just tighten them up .

Ah ok cheers, ill have a looky tomorrow, couldnt really see much when i got in just and had a look
