Whats that noise?

  Renault Clio 1.8 16v
Hi, I have a 1996, Clio 1.8 16v, with 74k on the clock and had some work carried out about 250 miles ago. The shocks and springs were replaced on the front along with both wheel bearings and top strut mounts. Recently a noise has developed from the front of the car, when going over 30mph. It seems to come and go. Its similar to the noise the car made when the wheel bearing where going. Any help would be much appreciated as Im skint from my last trip to the garage:rolleyes: and hope to sort this problem out myself. Cheers, J (I fitted grooved disks and new pads all round about 500 miles ago.)

Dont grooved discs normally make a rumbling noise? which could maybe mistaken for a bearing noise... is it only when your braking?
