Whats missing?

bought a 172 and noticed something strange. it will probably be something obvious to those that no, but i have spoken to renualt and they have no idea . i know there is a cover missing also. the car runs lumpy on tick over, dont know if this is linked.

Thats where the fuel preasure regulator would be if it had one. But most ph2s dont have them.

Its pretty normal for them to run lumpy on tickover also.

thanks for the speedy reply. was told there should be a fuel pressure regulator but mine must not have one. yeah i know they run lumpy a mate had one, but mine seems quite bad. it had uprated plugs and leads and a a powerflow exhaust but i think it is a bit erratic?
