What type of grease to use re-filling CV boots ?

Any typenumbers or just go to the autoshop and order CV-grease ? I was once visiting a guy here who runs two Cup racers and he was telling me about some kind of SUPERDUPER grease they use ? (as they're s**t got too hot frequently eating up shafts/cv's)

haha , no i'm just saying there might be some qualtity difference ? Want the good one, but what one ?

Lith-moly for cv joints. Should be able to get it from any decent motorfactors.

okay, a brand name to go by. I'll see about the availability over here.
I was thinking about a grade of some kind; like a 85w90 oil for gearboxes / 5W40 for the engine .

Motor factors sell sachets of cv grease for bout £2 just buy one and wack it in the boot

Any high temperature grease will do aslong as it doesnt have any bits in it. Like copper grease, which I had to temperamentally fill my boot with to drive 200 miles lol
You can get sachets of the grease from most motorfactors.

Molybdenum Grease is near as dammit ideal. You can buy pots of CV grease from Motor factors
