What is a Barry boy

A little confused, i realise that any barry boy topic appears to have minging cars, but where is barry boy from? Not from people in barry, south wales having rank cars by any chance is it?

Someone who modifies their low power Shopping car badly , generally hangs around mc Donalds drive throughs and closed retail parks. Usually aged 17 to 25 and dressed in chav like clothing.
