What has broken in the last 6 months?

Bottom mount (£110)
Radiator (£250ish)
Washer pump (£10)
CD changer < binned bought a new headunit (£150)
Clock bulbs (£3 but a total pain in the arris to fit)
2 sets of sidelights (£3 but no skin left on my nuckes)
Windscreen cracked (£75 still needs doing)
Geometry setup (probably spent about £300 getting this right).

Tbf its looking sorry for itself atm. Needs a service and 2 new tyres before its next MOT in Dec. If work wasnt looking so shakey I think it might be time to move on.

Saying that its been 60k and 3 years of mostly 'mazing ownership. Will be trading it in for an R26 as soon as I can.

Nothing but then i dont use my car too much these days!

Saying that after 4 years and 16k in the 182 i didnt replace a single thing (aside of servicing/brakes/tyres).

  500 Twinair
In the last six months

new gearbox
new clutch
new foglight cover
new exhaust mounts
cambelt change
aux change
new splitter

In all fairness, i've had the car over 5 years. This year is the most expensive year i've ever spent on the clio.
Gonna have to be the last year and get something newer.

Gearbox mount
Balljoint

My old 172 had these things replaced during my 9 month ownership (most came within the 6 month period):
- New stainless exhaust as standard split (was going to have stainless anyway so no bother)
- Wheels buckled, due to pothole in road, meaning I bought some standard 172 alloys (was also going to do this anyway, just earlier than expected). I also got a payout from the council for this though
- UCH went
- Changed hazard switch (as I thought that might of been faulty)
- ABS Sensor
- ABS ring
- Exhaust mounts
- Exhaust fitting from manifold - cat
- Coilpack
- Rear discs and pads

Think thats it... Uber reliable that car was! ;)
Gotta say though, I still absolutely loved it and was gutted to see it go!

I've had mine just over a week and it has had new HT leads due to it missfiring, I had to take apart the washer jet motors because they wernt working, I'll be needing a new exhaust at some point because it has started blowing.

Apart from that its all good. Oh and the dephaser pulley is starting to rattle slightly on warm idle.

  172 cup
1x rear wheel bearing
4x new sparks plugs
1x oil filter

rear hanger for my ktec exhaust has just slipped and makin a really bad rattle, need to sort that soon as.

  Motorbikes
Not a clio but in the last 6 months i've done

cambelt/water pump
front springs
coolant change
cooling fan
rear wheel bearing
2 oil changes
change gearbox oil
4 tyres
handbrake cable
front discs and pads
high level brake light wiring
bonnet hinges
battery mounts
welding to inner arch and rear part of inner sills
exhaust manifold is on its way out

I guess some of this is consumable parts to be fair (cambelt, oil, tyres, brakes etc) but ah well

Water Pump
Power Steering Pump
Exhaust mounts
Rear shocks
Brakes/pads
Suspension Top mounts
Front Tyres
And a aux belt service.

Think thats all

  Saab 93 Aero Wagon
Broken? In 6 months? Errrm....well my OMP horn shorted out and fried the wires and the brake fluid sensor wire melted on the manifold. Thats it.

Over 5 years though:

Standard rear backbox
Prospeed backbox mount weld then split
2 x rear backbox mounts
2 x rear dampers (combined with Eibach Sportlines so to be expected)
2 x front damper (see above. Discovered after they were changed for coilovers)
1 x battery

Honestly, that is it.

  Iceberg 172
Ollie that is bloody impressive TBH!

I'm wondering if my dephaser pulley is on it's way out? Shouldn't it of been changed with the cam belt?

  A3 2.0TFSI QUATTRO

Headlight washer leaking
