What colour to paint the calipers on my flame red?

  In between cars....
Well going to spruce up the calipers, tidy the car up a bit

What's a good colour to paint them on a flame red 172?

Anybody got some pics?

There are a few pics on here, worth doing a search tbh.

Golden rule imo - if they are standard calipers, black or silver nothing else.

depends if you want to stand out ?

Yellow goes well against your colour, Silver if you want to make them look nice and clean.

Silver on flame red...matches badges.

If there 4 pots, black or silver.

What exactly ARE 4 pots?

Cheers Alan, but explain what's different about them to be called 4 pots? Excuse my clear lack of mechanical knowledge, I'm learning!

Standard brake calipers have either one or two pots/pistons in them, thats the part that pushes the pads against the disc to slow/stop the car when you push the brake pedal, 4 pot calipers have 4 pistons to push the pads against the disc thus creating more efficient stopping power and generally they look the cats dick too..
