Weird starting issue...

Just wanted to know if anyone else had any similar issues with starting up in the morning?

Every morning when I turn the key it'll either just turn over (which in itself doesn't sound too good) or it'll turn two or three times and then die. :S

On the second attempt it'll start up instantly. Thing is it only happens in the morning! I can leave the car all day at work and when I start up to go home it starts and runs fine.

Any ideas?

Mine does that! Usually if ive got the heaters on or air con... something thats taking extra power... but it has occasionally done it when everything has been off...

Battery, starter motor or cabling need attention.

Lazy fpr. Prime the pump twice before you try to start it. Should start straight away

sounds exaclty like mine, cooked starter motor is starting stick.

itll do a really lazy turn over, or just click,
then second or third attempt, itll crank normally and start.

I fitted a new battery and it hasn't happened since.
