wear indicator on 1144's

recieved my mintex 1144's this morning and noticed the pads each have a wear indicator plug on them. as there is no where for this to plug into on the car (or is there) is it safe to pull it off?

i would imagine you will need to cut them off mate,but im sure someone will be along shortly to conferm this

cool, anyone fitted 1144's? do you need to remove the metal shims for them to fit in like you do with ds2500's?
