Want a 172 got a few questions, please help!

Basicly I am looking to trade my 1.2 in for a 172, u was hoping a few of my questions could be answerd?

1) what is the best price I can expect to insure it for(i'm 20, 3 year ncb)
2) I dnt want to spend alot but what maxium millilage should I look for?
3) what sort of trade in price could I get for my 2004 1.2 16v with 57,000 miles?

1) Go and get some quotes. It will depend on lots of things

2) If they're serviced properly and looked after, they'll last long after 100k. So milage depends on how much you have to spend.

Thanx my best quote was 1,400 quid. I'm hoping to find one with around 70k

1) it will also depend on your area, insurance can change daily so its a bit of a lottery.
2)Look for a full service history and mileage wont matter to much, some 172's on here are well past 100k
3)At a nice dealer i reckon about 2800 - 3000

I was kind of in the same boat...

I ended up buying my 52plate Flame Red 172.

Insurance is £1070 fully comp. Im 20 with 1 year ncb, 0points/crashes. That is with Admiral!
