Very sad today.... :(

I Part Ex(ed) my Clio Cup 172 for my current car.
Then it was sold on to a dealer. Purchased about 3 weeks ago by a youngster.
I saw it floating about every now and then.
and last night I got told that on Saturday it had been written off - totalled - gone for ever.

RIP my little cup!
I'm gutted - I Loved that motor - So many memories.
Ohh well

True mate... But it was my first car, and I grew a little attached.

Just pisses me off - I kept it so clean, never really abused it - and 3 weeks with a new owner its gone

thats why when i sell mine im not gonna put ads in the windows or anything, id rather it went sumwhere further away so i didnt see it about all the time etc.

drove along the a6 a while bk and a girl driving my old clio (first car) was infront of me, that was surreal.

de ja vue here I posted the exact same up about my car, half people understood why i was bothered it was three or so weeks aswell and the other half wernt bother, saying it aint your car anymore all that stuff
i just hope when they sell theirs that they get written off and here the im not arsed stories, but deep down they will be bothered. most prob. i hope .

My engine was cold, I hadn't driven it in a week and I was in 5th gear

lol reminds me of when I sold my 182 which I absolutely loved!! to my brother in law over the road, who is a great guy, but doesn't know how to care or DRIVE a car, I tell him....WAIT WAIT WAIT until the oil is warm before you floor it to the limiter. (Think he takes it the wrong way)

God, it sounds like a bag of spanners until it's warmed up and he belts the sh!t out of it, alloys all kerbed, no weekly was, and detailed often like when I had it.

the first month seeing all this, I felt so bad lol, absolutely gutted.

But the feeling shortly goes away, and now I just laugh at the bugger


plus got the MK2 TT to care for now
