Ok i stuck £30 in the car yesterday which took me one notch above halfway, done say 100 miles now its varying from just about hitting the red, to two clicks above red, and when you press the stalk to show how much miles left to fuel it shows ---- never had this on any other 182 any help? Cheers.

Have you driven it far since it's been showing ----?
let the car rest and then ignition on, reset the trip computer and drive for a few minutes, if theres a decent amount of petrol in there (before the light comes on) should register again.
If all else fails, run the test mode and that will tell you how much fuel the sender says is left.
