Will the standard PH2 16v wheels be ok having 195/50/15 on them when standard size is 185/55/15?

If so, what advantages/disadvantages would there be?

Yeah they will be fine.

Myself, and many others run these.

Advantages will be more grip on the road, and ever so slight acceleration increase (due to the diameter of the whole wheel/tyre becoming smaller). Also they are cheaper and look better!

Disadvantages........err.....none that I can think of.....anyone?

Cool, think ill get them then, the standard size are like £20 more for the tyres I want!

Probably Avons, had them on my old car and they are really good! They score very well on mytyres.co.uk as well!
