Tyres Rubbing At Rear :(

Just had 205/45/16 RS-Rs fitted and they rub at the rear on hard cornering!!

Anyone else have this and know which bit rubs exactly? Need to sort it asap as have a track day on monday :(

  Many.
Take the wheel off and lock, it changes between cars.

Most likely the inside edge, assume you have no spacers?

5mm would probably do. When I fitted 172 alloys and a set of 205's the inside of the rear nearside tyre rubbed on a part of the rear beam. Was a bit that sort of stuck out. Could probably have filed/ground it down tbh, reckon it was just the rust on it that was causing it to rub.

Well, put some 5mm spacer on from halfords! f**king things are so wide that the touch the brake pad a tiny amount.
Managed to get them as good as possible but not sure if its gona heat up on track and cause my brake pad to blow out. That would be a b**ch.
Fingers crossed for me please..
