tyre size question.....

iv been offered some nearly new toyo tyres for a good price off a mate, the thing is the tyres are 205-40-16 and mine on the clio are 205-45-16, (182 wheels), so basically will they fit???sorry to sound dumb :S

Yeah, but I wouldn't use them. The difference is in the sidewall height. You'd need to keep the same sizes on one axle. Like I say though, I'd pass on them. Keep everything the same unless you are changing all four tyres imo.

nothing wrong with using them at all tbh. Car would fine so long as you use them all round.

will be a little more crashy over bumps but if there cheap enough might as well give em a go if yours in need of new ones??!!

5mm isn't going to make that much difference in ride at all.
