tyre comparison, toyo t1r, parada spec 2 and nankang ns2

tyre comparison, toyo t1r, parada spec 2 and nankang ns2

whos had what and whats the good and bad, im about to get my new weekend ,mess about / track toy ready for the road but it needs new tyres, i usually use nankang ns2 but everyone disses them however they have never let me down on or off track. i am however thinking of going to toyo t1r or parada spec but not sure what to do.

ebays prices seem to be the best, £115 for nankang, £128 for t1r toyo and £145 for parada all delivered

According to Gally paradas are the devils tyres and if you fit them your car will be crashed.

If you have 15" wheels get T1R's I just got 2 for £27 each from camskill.

I crashed on paradas, brilliant in the dry, careful driving needed in the wet. I currently use t1r on the fronts and i am very happy with them day to day use(wet and dry).

My Yoko's are fine in the wet TBH, sometimes hard turning quickly on a roundabout it understeers, but most tyres will do that in the wet!

ive got T1-R's on the DCi, they are no eagle F1 but they are a good bit cheaper, considering they are priced as a budget tyre they are brilliant! on my 172 i used F1's religiously and i would still use them if i still had it.

+1. Ive had no problems, even at 3mm tread in the slush i didnt have one scary moment, strange.

Just made the wife order a new set of V12's, will try them on her car first.

f1s for me too, very good tyre and not bad in the wet, alot better in the wet than the t1rs in IMO
