Trophy/182 exhausts

Just admiring some pics of a Trophy on here i remembered that when i went to view one a few weeks ago i noticed the exhaust pipes on the Trophy dont stick out as much as 182s ?

Anyone else notice this ?

Yeah I noticed that. I dont think its because its a Trophy though

My 182 exhausts sat too low and stuck out beyond the bumper. When they fitted a new system that was even worse, yet the new 182 in the show room was perfect, just like the one on my Trophy is. Dave182s is too close to his bumper and hits the plastic surrounds.

It just appears to be luck of the draw.

They certainly dont look it

The pics of Lees and the one i saw dont stick out anywhere near as much as any 182 ive seen including mine.

It seems its a Renault "characteristic."

See how badly fitted it is. When they replaced the centre section it was even worse, so they replaced the entire system and even that wasnt great.

It would be interesting to see if this was something that has been sorted for the Trophy.

Im not so sure its a luck of the draw thing because my 182 exhaust is fitted fine but protrudes way more than the 2 Trophys i have seen.Also ive seen quite a few 182s now and they all protrude as much as mine.

I know this might sound odd, but Im sure my read bumper sits a little further back.

Just found the pictures I took the day I collected the 182. It sat badly even then!
