Transfer 100GB from Windows to MAC

So, I want to transfer 100GB of Music and Photos to my MBA, whats the best way to do this?

I looked at the migrate tool, but It's going to take ages doing it via the network. Should I just borrow an external HDD and do it that way?

I had a similar situation as my old PC packed up with all my stuff on it.

I bought a HDD USB caddy from Maplin, the Mac was able to read the drive no problem. Then just formatted the drive so I could use it with Time Machine as a back up device.

Yeah, but that means I've got to buy the adapter, which I'll only use once. I'll just borrow an external HDD for the time being then get one myself.

If you have the option to borrow an external HDD then go with that. Can copy/paste the lot and leave it.

I transferred 50gb by USB and it didn't take that long. :)

Sorry, just noticed you have an air, external hard drive probably best then.
