Nope, IIRC pre 53reg don't.

Found the answer to my question! So it it doesn't have the button am I correct in thinking it doesn't have any traction control at all?

No button, no ESP.

My 51 plate never had it.

52 onwards have ESP

You probably can't reliably go by the registration alone, as that's when the car was registered, not when it was built. There might be some cars overlapping on either side.

I've been in a few 51 and 02 which didn't and all 52 I've been in have, so that's fairly conclusive
