Is it ok to use this on plastic headlights ? Have read that you can not use on plastics but has anyone used it on headlights after correction or newish lights and is it ok ? Or what would be better to use ?

I don't see why not, it's just a sealant.

I've used it on headlights with no trouble

Yes you can. You can't use it on textured black plastics as it leaves behind a white residue. Painted or similar plastics treat just like any other painted panel
