thanks for everyones help recently, got myself 'spyware doctor' did a full scan found 78 infected files & nasties......................also got full mcaffe console from new..............just shows how w**k it really is.

Machine has changed completely, from hanging, missing items on start up, unwanted search results etc etc etc.
