£500 spent on another turbo.

Hopefully this one works a little better!

Just remembered I went from a 15T to a 19T on a Vectra VXR. Looked almost identical to the turbo you've out on. Was branded SAAB. Probs all the same!

Just needs half a coil chopping off at the front and it would be sitting just right!
Then, you can sack those wheels off and put the others back on 😆.

Not this time. Looks to me like it’s the rocker cover gasket or the crank seal - or both.

Some heavy seepage if rocker cover! Pouring out lolz.
The arc pattern/location and amount looks worrying. Is it easy accesible?

Do you drain the oil out the sump or just start the engine and let it piss out leaking cam cover?

Broke down again the other day. Rang the RAC at 5pm and they eventually turned up at midnight. Yep, a 7hr wait in a volvo.

The reason? Covid allegedly.

Anyway, the guy couldn’t fix it so got towed home but he said it could be the dizzy cap or rotor arm. That was a bit disappointing as they’d just been changed.

Anyway, bought a new (different) dizzy and rotor and we’re back boosting.

Also, possibly got some front coilovers and shortened rear shocks so I can increase da lowz but we’ll see if that comes off.
