The Ford Appreciation Thread

Miss my Ford 😞

That's nice it's looks so good in silver, i'd love a Focus ST but my dog would f*ck the interior up.
Great all rounder, brakes and handling not quite up to Clio standard without splashing a little cash but that engine and torque is addictive. Had it 4 years, only sold it to fund work on the house

Quick question for the Ford boys: On a Mk5 Escort did they ever do a non Cosworth rs model that had 4wd?

Get the Reg and fire it through Askmid and it usually confirms spec.

Theoretically yes you could make a rep, but it wouldn't be perfect... Pretty sure the Track is quite a bit different on the Cosworth Vs RS2K.

Also cost wise a rep wouldn't be worth doing once you factor in all the Bodywork let alone running gear.

An Escort Cossie is completely different to an Escort. The floor pan etc is all Sierra. Only about three things on an Escort Cos are shared with a regular Escort. Any pics?
I once knew a person who had two red escort Cossies, both were fakes.

Usually pretty easy to spot the fakes unless big money was spent

The image of it as requested. I can pm the reg if needed, I have done a check and it comes up as and Escort rs2000?

It looks like he has a last of the line Auralis Blue one with the OE look 18's on it.

If it's legit, he's got one VERY rare Escort Cos!!!
It would have to to be N or P reg. Older than that & I'm calling shenanigans.

Do they have a different vin number pattern being that it's based on the Sierra? I guess that would be the best way?

  Fiesta ST
Some lovely cars here.

I almost bought an ST off Gally on this forum last year, but ended up buying another mint MK6.5 ST when someone beat me to it! I loved this car so much I've just traded it in for another :)

No wonder these are so popular. I've had a few RS's but Ford have really hit the nail on the head with the new ST.

Great choice mate. My older ST was a great all rounder. Really impressed me.

If I had the choice again i'd have it over my Trophy all day long.

It did look like a great example, and I was a bit gutted at the time when I missed out on it. I think the ST has got to be one of the best cars I've owned. I never looked twice after having an RS Clio and Megane, but they really are underrated. The power on MK6's can soon be made up with an exhaust and induction (yours had a full Milltek if I remember rightly?) and puts it in the same league.

Owner of detailing nation I believe. Viper. Never seen any paint at all but competes in modified class.

I have owned 3 fords to date. 2 have been mk5 Fiesta zetec S and the other a Mk1 focus RS.

The Zetec S is without doubt, IMO, the best warm hatch you can buy. S good that I owned 2 of them.
Oddly, the mk1 RS was without doubt the WORST car I have owned, no question about it. Everything about it sucked after the initial thrill of owning an RS wore off (about a week).

I saw an RS200 the other day, sadly it was the yellow one I used to see around, which is a Kara one :( basically fake.
This car,
