The b******s keyed my car!

Came out of a hotel to find a nasty key mark above the rear wheel arch on the passengers side. I've told the hotel that they are paying for it, there is no sign to say that you leave your car there at your own risk, and I find it a bit of a contradiction in terms when you have to leave your keys in case they move the car, but they have no liability.

Any advice?

Car parks never accept responsibility for these things mate.
Its a pisser and probably most people will get some sort of ding in a car park at most points. Doesnt make it any better though.
Hope its not too bad.

Makes no difference whether theres a sign up or not.

Hotel has no responsibility for damage thats beyond their control.

If the same happened at Tescos the doctors surgery in the high street a pub car park etc etc do you think these organisations would cough up.

If they did we could all get our cars repaired for free irrespective of where it occurred just say it happened there.
