switching ecu’s

i dont know wether this has been asked before but is there a difference between the phase1 and phase 2 clio ecu?

if so will a phase two work on a phase 1?

basically i want to get a phase2 19 and put the ecu on the phase1 clio....

any ideas peeps?

look for the S number on the ECU, if its the same it should work, but dont hold me to that

ive got another 1.4RT ECU under my bed as a spare, it works fine in the car ive tried it

not sure, but some 19 16v had an onboard computer which shows mpg trip distance, amount of fuel in tank, might not be a problem thou for running the engine itself
