So thought I'd give my first ever go at bleeding brakes today, first nipple I try to undo, sheers off :(.

Now I'm fairly confident I can get the rest out. But when looking for a new one, how do I find out what size I need?

How likely are the other 3 to do this?

I'd imagine George@RTR_parts would be the guy to help you with bleed nipples, would be worth soaking the remaining nipples with some wd40 or similar before trying to undo

Aren't bleed nipples usually the same thread on most cars??
Some people heat them with a blow torch to free them up, dunno if that helps?

I swear at mine.

Either blowtorch as said, or buzz gun. Sometimes the shock rather than progressive spins them free.

Cheers for the reply,

If I search for bleed nipples on eBay there is loads of different sizes etc? Don't want to attempt to get it out if I don't have one to put back in.
