Sudden drop in MPG

Now to start off i know not to take much notice of the trip computers but I cant help but notice a sudden drop in MPG

I drive a 172 Cup and can usually get around 45MPG on a motorway run but now it struggles to get 40MPG.

I did take the sop section of the inlet off at the weekend to clean my "factory standard" leaky rocker cover gasket but to my knowledge i put everything back as it should be and the car runs fine.

Anyone have any ideas?

If it was faulty would it chuck a light up? Also does the lambda connect up to the inlet by any chance?

what speed are you doing when youre getting 45 mpg?

I've actually just got back from my unit, done an oil + filter change. It was last fully serviced in April.

60mph usually see's 45mpg
