Stud conversion rear disc change

  KTM Xbow, Jag XF
About to change the rear discs on my 172
I have the 4 stud conversion and I'm wondering if these need to be removed before removing the rear discs or if they should just slide off and they can remain in place?

I'm also guessing they're going to be a bugger to get off so a hammer and some patience will be needed?

I've not done the rears on a Clio before although I've had a look and it seems that it's a case of a couple of 17mm bolts for the calliper, 30mm for the main but securing the disc and bearing, remove discs, replace the shims at the back of the disc and then refit accordingly?

Thanks in advance

The only pic I have - but you mean like this. I took mine out when disc was off the car . Whatever is easiest for you .
